welcome

Born in Montreal, Jordan Lamarre-Wan started his career in Graphic Design at the Cégep du Vieux Montréal where he graduated in 2003. He landed an Animator Assistant job on a Flash project and he knew he wanted to strive in the Animation Field. By the time he graduated, he had a full working knowledge of Maya, a short 3D film and two short published comic books.

He then moved on to the Film Animation program at Concordia University where students received a traditional animation training. Films were painted on cells and shot on 16mm film with Oxberry cameras. His training at Concordia was cut short by his acceptance at Sheridan College where he spent the next four years.

At Sheridan, his love for storytelling grew into an addiction for creating stories and he successfully entered the Animation Industry in several branches such as Layout, Painting and Storyboarding. His experience includes Studio B, Warner Bros through Collideascope, March Entertainment, Boomstone, Chelsea Road and several other canadian animation companies.

For his 4th year Graduate film at Sheridan College, he decided to make a product that reflects his love for storytelling and that showcases his skills for design. kaBOOM can be viewed on the ‘movie’ page of this site.

Enjoy!
